We are based at the Seafield Arms Hotel in Seafield, West Lothian where regulars of the pub have been attending Scotland's home matches (and the occasional away game) for many years.

When the pub's annual trip to Dublin coinsided with the Scotland friendly held in 2000 it was decided to give the group a name and therefore an identity. However it can be said that the Sporran Legion is more of a disorganisation than an organisation, but things usually come together in the end!

The principal aim of the Sporran Legion is to promote the Scottish football team whenever and wherever the opportunity presents itself, and to encourage people, especially the younger generation, to come back to Hampden Park and re-create the legendary "Hampden Roar". We run a bus to all home matches departing from our Seafield Arms HQ, and it is rare that there is not at least two or three legionnaires carrying our flag at away games.

You don't need to live in Seafield to travel with us to either home or away games and we have members throughout West Lothian, our number also includes footsoldiers from Gairloch, The Western Isles, Sittingbourne (Kent), Thailand and Bydgoszcz (Poland) with most other regions in between.
